| Sumari: | Globalisation challenges also criminal law. National criminal law systems no longer exist in isolation; but must be coordinated and networked both practically and normatively. In this volume; an international group of experts in the theory of norms sheds light on the potentials that this theory holds for the process of internationalisation of criminal law and criminal procedure law both in a fundamental way and from specific perspectives. This results in a multifaceted picture of the theory of norms as an analytical tool that can be applied across the various national legal systems and that can serve as a common language of inter-legal-system communication and as a grammar of criminal law in an international context.
