Итог:The scientific problem of the work is the assessment of the possibility of using a hemp-lime composite in the external walls of buildings. The theoretical part describes environmental impact of hemp use in construction. The hemp-lime composite and building techniques were characterized. The research part concerns the relationships between the variable composition of composites and their properties. The effect of partial replacement of hemp shives with expanded perlite and flax shives on properties was also investigated. Composites showed low bulk density, high porosity, low thermal conductivity, high water absorption and low mechanical parameters. The type and fraction of shives, as well as the presence of other fillers affect the properties of the composite. It is possible to eliminate the risk of condensation in the wall. Timber structural elements in the walls made of composite form a small thermal bridges.
