After considering the meaning of energy communities in the development of renewable sources in a bottom-up perspective, the prediction of vertical axis wind turbines performance is presented to focus the attention on this configuration which is not full commercial TLR as well. The wave energy converters are another example of devices to exploit renewable sources which are gaining a special interest. An application concerning Sardinian coastal areas is presented and some results concerning its energy performance is discussed. |
