description Analysing the main instruments through which cultural propaganda took shape, the author investigates the different phases and articulations that marked the regime's strategies in relation to democratic France on the one hand, and to the Weimar Republic and then Nazi Germany on the other. This volume intends to contribute to the debate on the assumptions and guidelines of Fascist foreign policy, highlighting not only the weight of the ideological dimension, but also the turning point of 1936, which preceded a notable downsizing of the initiative in France and a complex interaction with the German ally, between collaboration and the claim to the primacy of Latin civilisation.
