Descripció
Sumari:The aim of the present communication is to investigate and present the different nuances of the natural contingency recounted within the historical and literary production of the Toulousain canonist and ambassador Bernard de Rosier, active in the south of France in the first half of the 15th century. In particular, the focus will be put on two texts, the Ambaxiatorum Brevilogus and the Acta legationis, showing the difficulties caused by natural events during a legation, possible solutions to them and the ambassador’s attempt to universally classify and categorise such events.
