The approach to the topic is interdisciplinary and multi-perspective as well as inter-, cross-, and transcultural and focuses on various courtly and urban instances of power between Ragusa, the Ottoman Empire, Habsburg-Burgundy, China, and other cultures at the turn of the 14th century to the beginning of the 18th century. |
