It also highlights the relevance of the formulation of balanced feeds to ensure optimum growth of fish. Snook farming is presented as a promising alternative to counteract the overexploitation of the species in Colombia, and optimal areas have been identified in the Colombian Caribbean for the development of marine fish farming of snook. The identification of suitable areas for farming is fundamental, since the sustainable growth of this activity in the country depends on them. |
