All the articles focused on carbon emissions and carbon reduction, with a complete research framework including spatiotemporal variations, balance analysis, socioeconomic impacts, scenario analysis, and policy recommendations. We have made great efforts to seek the sustainable management pathways to carbon neutrality through evaluating the carbon balance statuses, analyzing the relationship between carbon emissions and the nature–social–economic system, and predicting the future trends of carbon emissions. All contents are conducive to the harmony between human and nature and global sustainable development. |
