الملخص:The XXXII JIEE-2024 conference provided a space for collaboration between the academic community and the energy, telecommunications, and automation sectors, in which the EPN showcased the technological advances and challenges that the scientific community has addressed in a number of research and final degree projects related to telecommunications, electronics, information technologies, and electrical engineering. Among the main topics addressed during the conference were the following: i) control and systems; ii) smart grids; iii) the deployment of novel technologies for planning and operating power systems; iv) renewable energy; v) automation; vi) robotics; vii) power electronics; viii) control; ix) wireless technologies; x) mobile communications; xi) cybersecurity; and xii) machine learning. In addition, this was a space to share with the academic and industry community the novel studies that have been carried out worldwide on topics related to power systems, renewable energy, telecommunications, electronics, control, and information technology. With this aim, keynotes from international experts were organized as part of special tutorials held during the conference. This Reprint contains the scientific papers that were presented at XXXII JIEE-2024, which summarize the results of important research projects carried out at Escuela Politécnica Nacional, Quito, Ecuador, as well as at other universities and within industry related to power systems, renewable energy, telecommunications, electronics, control, and information technology.
