Summary:Sepsis remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, underscoring the urgent need for advances in diagnosis, prognostication, and therapeutic strategies. This Special Issue gathers high-quality contributions exploring the various molecular biomarkers and novel therapeutic approaches aimed at improving outcomes in sepsis. The articles cover a wide spectrum of topics, including the identification of early diagnostic indicators, molecular pathways driving immune dysregulation, host–pathogen interactions, and targeted interventions based on biomarker profiles. Both preclinical and clinical studies are included, highlighting translational potential and real-world applications. By emphasizing precision medicine and individualized treatment strategies, this collection offers valuable insights for clinicians, researchers, and policy-makers seeking to combat the global burden of sepsis. The findings presented in this Special Issue contribute to a deeper understanding of disease mechanisms and open new avenues for more efficient and personalized sepsis care.
