Other works investigate historical cyclone trends, tsunami risk assessment, and structural responses of buildings to coastal disasters. The findings underscore the need for integrated risk reduction strategies that combine engineering, environmental, and social perspectives. This reprint provides essential insights for researchers, planners, and policymakers working to enhance coastal resilience and disaster preparedness in the face of intensifying environmental threats. |
