Through analysis of healthcare financing options, allocation of resources, the balance between medical professionalism and patient rights, end-of-life decisions, neonatal genetic screening, and medical error, it probes current difficulties and proposes solutions to improve the system and enhance professionalism and service quality for sustainable social development. Including essays by over a dozen medical professionals and public policy scholars, the book synthesizes stakeholder experiences to resonate with practitioners and guide readers to reflect on pressing medical issues. |
