Published Il volume nasce da una ricerca pluriennale sulle lettere pubblicate nella rubrica della posta del cuore del settimanale “Grazia”. Obiettivo dello studio è mostrare l’evoluzione, nel corso del Novecento, del ruolo sociale della donna e dei modelli di femminilità presenti nel discorso dei consigli sulla stampa italiana, così come i mutamenti diacronici che hanno riguardato la forma e il contenuto delle lettere stesse. Dall’analisi emerge un quadro degli interessi delle donne nelle diverse epoche esaminate, dei problemi che si trovavano ad affrontare, dei tipi di tematiche promosse dalla rivista e delle soluzioni proposte dalle rubriciste.
