| Тойм: | Public Art and Youth: An Aesthetic Dialogic Experience is aimed at male and female readers that are interested in art. It is an interdisciplinary work of research with an academic profile supported by group techniques that explores youth’s life possibilities and all of their universe of senses, emotions, and rationalities upon contact with public art in Colima, Mexico.
Three public sculptures were referenced for the work of research: José Luis Cuevas’s La Figura Obscena (The Obscene Figure); Juan Soriano’s El Toro Echado (The Lying Bull); and the replica of a Pre-Columbian sculpture by Guillermo Ríos Alcalá called Perritos Colimotes (Little Dogs from Colima). The book proposes the idea of the aesthetic dialogic experience as a vast richness of analysis possibilities between public art and society. |
