| סיכום: | Within the framework of strengthening the innovation and development ecosystem, scientific production plays a fundamental role in the economy of a territory, as it serves as the key element for cultivating knowledge as a generator of alternative solutions to face the challenges and issues present in today’s society. That being said, various spaces for the exchange of knowledge and best practices have been consolidated at both national and international levels, with the aim of encouraging the academic community to establish strategic alliances with organizations that integrate innovation processes to advance territorial competitiveness.
At the international level, Colombia ranked fifth in Latin America in the 2022 Scimago Journal Ranking for citations and publications (h-index). This achievement allows the academic community to continue promoting research and intellectual growth.
In line with the above, and thanks to the joint efforts and coordination of different institutions, the 1st Ibero-American Meeting on Solidarity Economy and Socioecological Innovation was held at the Universidad Santiago de Cali. This academic event aimed to analyze socioecological innovation processes for the construction and strengthening of knowledge in Ibero-America through the exchange of research focused on innovation, based on models of social and solidarity economy.
Its realization was made possible thanks to the support of the Network of Ibero-American Universities La Rábida, as well as the collaboration of the International University of Andalusia, which co-directed the event. |
