| Zusammenfassung: | In this volume, the Argentine theatre theorist Jorge Dubatti makes new contributions to the theory and analysis of the performing arts, from the disciplines of Philosophy of Theatre, Comparative Theatre, Comparative Poetics and Comparative Studies of Theatrical Expectation. Among other main themes, Dubatti proposes a vision of the arts based on the distinction between convivio, tecnovivio and the liminality between the two; he proposes a Philosophy of Theatre applied to scenography; he analyses Jorge Luis Borges “The Search for Averroes” as a contribution to Theatrology. He then looks at the universe of expectation: he characterises the Schools of Spectators, the concepts of transtheatricality, transactoriality, transexpectatoriality and territoriality, and defines seven approaches to spectatorship: real, historical, implicit, explicit, represented, abstract, voluntary. Finally,he establishes links between literature and the theatrical event and analyses the production of artist-researchers in the generation of knowledge. |
