Die Autorin untersucht, wie die Schreibenden einen therapeutischen Blick auf sich selbst entwickelten und welche Rolle Psychiatriereform, Geschlechterkonventionen und sozialistische Ideologie dabei spielten. Damit skizziert sie ein Spannungsfeld zwischen staatlichem Fürsorgeversprechen und veränderten Anforderungen an die gesundheitliche Eigenverantwortung von Patient:innen im Staatssozialismus. |
