In this sense, training, particularly higher education and research, are fundamental factors not only for personal development, but also for permanent evolution and continuous organizational learning, with a direct impact on the adaptation and updating of emergency relief, in line with the complexity of the emergence of new risks and threats.
This book presents a strategic vision of the importance of specific higher education in the field of firefighters and civil protection, thus filling a gap in strategic knowledge in this crucial area of national security.
