Descripció
Sumari:This work deals with the micromechanical modeling of the orientation evolution of short-fibers in suspensions with an emphasis on mean-field homogenization. At the beginning, the impact of the anisotropic viscosity of the suspension on the stress field under load after the fluid-solid transition is studied. The subsequent parts contain the investigation of novel closure approximations and the generalized micromechanical formulation of the orientation tensor evolution of arbitrary order.
