| Summary: | A publication devoted to the psychological analysis of people undergoing long-term dialysis treatment and the possibility of improving their mental state through psychological interventions.
The publication presents studies verifying the effectiveness of selected psychological interventions. Their aim was to influence the level of acceptance of the disease, self-efficacy, cognitive assessment of the disease and treatment, and emotions experienced. The subsequent interventions discussed were inspired by contemporary psychological stress theory and positive psychology.
The publication is primarily addressed to theorists and practitioners of health psychology. |
