| Тойм: | The central objective of this book is to problematize the foundations of materialism in the philosophical field. For this reason, the first two chapters are dedicated to the two only philosophical concepts that are justified in substantial terms: God and consciousness. God will not be conceived under personalistic and transcendent terms, as is done by traditional religions, but rather as a universal, eternal, transcendent, and immanent principle to all existing beings and things. Consciousness will be thought of metaphysically as spirit, or as an ontological and substantial unit that is the foundation of itself as subjective interiority, being also the origin of material objects themselves. |
