description The goal of this Special Issue was to collect papers (original research articles and review papers) to provide insights about surface–groundwater interaction, integrated water management strategies, groundwater recharge estimation, and the effects of anthropogenic pressures, such as land-use changes and exploitation. Contributions focus on field investigations, field and/or remote sensing data-based numerical modeling approaches, and interdisciplinary management frameworks applied at local, regional, or basin-wide scales. This Special Issue includes submissions based on both academic research and practical experiences, with a special focus on studies that integrate scientific knowledge with real-world problem solving. All papers have been published in an open access format following peer review.
