| Summary: | The aim is to provide a description of the current state of road accidents, also reflecting on the evolution of cases compared to the past. The document first provides an overview of the situation at European level, covering what were and are the common objectives for reducing deaths and injuries caused by road accidents. After a description of the data at the national level, it moves on to a more in-depth analysis of the situation in the Region of Sardinia. In particular, it describes the data at the provincial level and for large urban centers, highlighting the roads with the highest accident rates and the location of black spots, i.e., those sections of road where there is a high concentration of accidents. To make consultation quick and intuitive, this document is written in a concise form and favors the use of infographics. The most up-to-date data refer to the year 2024. |
