الوصف
الملخص:With engaging prose, Micael Alvino da Silva, in *Santos Dumont at the Falls*, transports us to the last decades of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, to understand what was happening in the world and on the tri-national border when Alberto Santos Dumont visited the Iguaçu Falls in 1916. In the form of short essays, the chapters are linked to highlight, each one, an aspect of the celebrated aviator's trajectory, always relating it to the land of Naipi. Almost a hundred years after the aviator's death, finally, Santos Dumont's unusual visit to the Falls becomes a book. It is with great joy that EDUNILA, in partnership with the Instituto 100 Fronteiras and with the support of Itaipu Binacional and the Iguaçu Fund, through the writings of Micael Alvino da Silva, presents this story to the public.
