| description | Human migration is a millennial phenomenon which is associated with the permanent search for better material, economic, and survival conditions by human beings, and it exists in all geographical scales and territories of the world; this book analyses, particularly associated with to a global and national scale in the last few decades, international migration, its roots, causes, explanations and greater tendencies; said phenomenon is not only limited to less advanced countries, also those that are developed or developing countries. Within the main tendencies and transformations of the migratory phenomenon, we find that there are new countries and regions that are becoming hotspots for international migrants. Such is the case of China, a country in which, mainly and due to its economic transformation and dynamism of the last few years, it is attracting specific types of migrants, who face a series of situations that are not much like those of countries that are traditionally receptive of migrants, as would be the case of the United States of America or some European countries. Also analyzed, are the endogenous factors that made China a hotspot for migrants and, as a specific case, the motives and characteristics of Mexican migrants into China in the last few years are presented; Their migration characteristics are described and analyzed, as well as the obstacles and challenges that said population is registering. |

Published La migración humana es un fenómeno milenario que está asociado a la búsqueda permanente de mejores condiciones materiales, económicas y de supervivencia por parte de los seres humanos, y existe en todas las escalas de la geografía y territorios del mundo; en este libro se analiza, particularmente asociado a la escala global y nacional en las últimas décadas, la migración internacional, sus raíces, causas, explicaciones y grandes tendencias; dicho fenómeno no es privativo sólo de los países menos avanzados, también de los desarrollados como en desarrollo. Dentro de las grandes tendencias y transformaciones del fenómeno migratorio, se encuentra que hay nuevos países y regiones que se están convirtiendo en foco de atracción de migrantes internacionales. Tal es el caso de la República Popular de China, país que, en gran parte y debido a su transformación y dinamismo económico de los últimos años, está atrayendo a un determinado tipo de inmigrantes, quienes enfrentan una serie de situaciones poco parecidas a las de países tradicionalmente receptores de migrantes, como sería el caso de Estados Unidos de América o de algunos países europeos.
