Summary:Well-being and labor productivity are two factors that are highly integrated in the workplace and in the performance of employees. Labor productivity is directly related to the degree of employee well-being; when employees feel motivated, supported and in good health, they work more and better. Higher levels of subjective well-being have been related to a friendly work environment. Occupational hazards at work can come in many forms, including prolonged periods of awkward posture that can lead to long-term health problems. An early ergonomic diagnosis is in itself a self-assessment tool that serves to detect the condition of the person, i.e. static postures and inadequate conditions of the work area can lead to job burnout and reduced productivity, but applying preventive measures and appropriate techniques when performing work activities, in addition to training, produces positive effects.
