Beskrivelse
Summary:Studies in Applied Cognitive Neuroscience aims to present the results of research focused on advancing topics traditionally addressed within the neurosciences, such as basic and higher-level cognitive processes in conditions including attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, and depression. It also incorporates studies centered on assessment and intervention processes informed by neuroscientific approaches in specific contexts such as the classroom. This publication consists of four research chapters, diverse in their themes yet unified by a single articulating axis: the advancement of the neurosciences in Latin American contexts, with particular interest in establishing evidence that reflects the specific characteristics of our environments. This work is ideal for professionals interested in empirical–analytical research processes in fields such as neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience.
