Descripció
Sumari:The book is a specialized guide that systematically integrates the anatomy and pathology of the peripheral nervous system of the upper and lower limbs, with particular emphasis on neural mobilization as a therapeutic strategy within the field of physical therapy. Based on a rigorous review of the scientific literature, the text accurately describes the anatomical trajectories of the main peripheral nerves, their areas of greatest vulnerability, the pathophysiological mechanisms of injury and the associated clinical manifestations. Likewise, the clinical application of neural mobilization techniques is developed in detail, presented through a step-by-step methodology that facilitates their incorporation into professional practice. This book is aimed at both students of health sciences and practicing physical therapists, with the objective of strengthening the diagnostic and therapeutic capacity in the approach to neurodynamic dysfunctions. The content is complemented with precise anatomical illustrations, functional diagrams and examples of evaluation and treatment, which contributes to consolidate learning and stimulate clinical reasoning. Overall, this work represents a tool for academic and professional consultation that promotes safe, evidence-based intervention aimed at optimizing neuromusculoskeletal functioning.
