| Zusammenfassung: | This study focuses on the development of a curricular proposal that, through training programs and collaborations with local government and other institutions, enables small business associations in La Concordia to improve their business
practices and, consequently, their quality of life. Using a descriptive and documentary methodology, municipal records were analyzed, and working sessions were held with members of these associations to identify the main training areas needed to strengthen their skills. The research revealed that topics such as food handling hygiene, basic accounting, business image, and customer service are essential for optimizing the management of these merchants. This training model aligns with the social engagement principles of Universidad Técnica Luis Vargas Torres, which aims to strengthen the local business fabric
by providing access to essential knowledge. The curricular proposal offers a comprehensive approach, enabling small business owners not only to formalize their activities but also to increase their competitiveness in the local market, thus
