In doing so, he relates the contextual history of the landscape to the personal histories of the inhabitants of the house, which was built in Adelboden in 1698 and moved to the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum in 1968. Using a spatial-theoretical approach, he examines the transformation of physical, processual, and symbolic space over a period of 270 years. This provides deeper insights into the historical discourse and the shifting meanings of landscape and house in the Alpine region. |
