This yearbook focuses on the extensive and leading collection of Korpora, Public Safety Heritage, in operation since 1 August 2022. The collection is currently formed by the national collections of the Dutch police and fire brigade, the Dutch Red Army, the former Protection of Population and heritage in the fields of crisis management, disaster relief, ambulance services and first aid. Korpora holds hundreds of thousands of objects from the 16th century onwards. Safe offers an insight into this fascinating collection. Each issue contains easy-to-read, scholarly articles on the various subfields. It also focuses on important and special acquisitions.
