סיכום:This article analyzes the impact of digital transformation on rural development in Latin America, focusing on technological inclusion and the challenges faced by rural communities. The research highlights how the adoption of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) can improve quality of life and reduce the digital divide, especially with regard to gender inequality. Despite advances in digitalization, important barriers persist, such as the lack of quality connectivity and the limited digital skills of the rural population. The efforts of institutions to close these gaps are evaluated through inclusive policies that promote equitable access to ICT, encouraging greater participation and economic development in these areas. This study justifies its relevance by addressing these obstacles, proposing solutions that can facilitate the equitable development of rural communities through digital transformation. To this end, a bibliographic analysis was carried out that allows evaluating both the digital gaps and the strategies that are being implemented in Latin America. As a result, it is concluded that, although digitalization offers great opportunities, it is crucial to adopt comprehensive policies that address these barriers and promote technological inclusion to improve living conditions in rural areas
