| Shrnutí: | This study examines the role of local associations in improving community quality of life, situating the discussion within the wider context of territorial development, citizen participation and sustainability. A qualitative analytical method was applied to review specialized literature and interpret conceptual and empirical contributions related to social capital, governance and community organization. The results show that local associations strengthen social cohesion, facilitate interaction between citizens and institutions, and promote economic and social initiatives that contribute to collective well-being. The study indicates that these organizations create favorable conditions for democratic participation, resilience and sustainable development, although their impact depends on factors such as leadership, organizational capacity and the institutional environment. The discussion interprets these findings in light of development approaches and governance models, demonstrating that associations act as key agents for promoting local transformation. It is concluded that associativity is a strategic component for improving quality of life and that its strengthening represents a significant contribution to understanding contemporary community development. |
