These works collectively enhance our current understanding of the effects of dislocations, microstructures, chemistry, and loading conditions on the mechanics and thermodynamics of metals across a range of length and time scales. The diverse content of this Reprint should be of interest to researchers in the fields of engineering mechanics, materials science, and metallurgy.
