The authors come from six countries: China, Ethiopia, Norway, Ireland, Australia, and Bulgaria. They carried out a systematic and in-depth study on hydropower engineering in each of their countries, to guide the design, construction, operation, and management of hydropower plants and pumped storage plants. Specifically, in Africa, hydropower provides cheap and renewable electricity for social and economic development. Thus, two publications by scholars from Mekelle University in Ethiopia are collected, and we express our sincere respect to them. Thanks to all scholars, reviewers, editors, and MDPI personnel who contributed to this publication.
