Focusing on interdisciplinary integration, the issue includes regional case studies (e.g., China’s Yangtze River Delta, Xining’s marginal area and Togo’s Greater Lomé), explores the intersection of smart planning and sustainable development, and highlights smart technology applications in specific land use types.
