| סיכום: | The aim of the research presented in this monograph is to identify the main structural patterns of morphemes of Lithuanian inflective words and regularities of consonant clusters. The analysis has revealed an obvious influence of the root on the structure of other morphemes. The most typical CVC structure root entails a CV structure prefix on the one side, while on the other – a suffix or a flexion with VC structure. The structural models of morphemes containing consonant clusters are unproductive and scarce; they are more common in roots. The results of the research suggest that there are no obvious patterns or restrictions in consonant alignment based on their articulation place. |
