| Summary: | This book, prepared by faculty from the University of Boyacá, from the LOGyCA Research Group (Logistics, Operations Management, and Quality), aims to be a didactic guide for the adoption of management processes to improve quality and thus ensure better competitiveness for small businesses in the department of Boyacá, especially those in the industrial corridor formed by the cities of Tunja, Duitama, and Sogamoso.
Analyzing the companies that were taken as a sample, out of the 5,575 registered (2015) in the Chambers of Commerce of the three cities with the highest business dynamism and urban growth, it was found that the companies "have awakened to globalization and recognize that their management must include processes of control and quality assurance" in order to compete successfully in both national and international markets. |
