| Streszczenie: | Adolescence marks a formative stage in the development of cardiovascular risk, often preceding clinically apparent disease. This volume examines how risk factors cluster within an adolescent population assessed in a hospital-based cardiology service. Drawing on clinical epidemiology embedded in routine practice, it considers demographic patterns, nutritional status, lifestyle behaviors, biochemical indicators, and imaging findings. Attention is given to lipid disorders, excess weight, physical inactivity, tobacco exposure, and their association with early cardiac changes. By emphasizing cumulative risk and the limits of cross-sectional data, the study offers a reflective perspective on early prevention in pediatric and adolescent care. |
