The Polish agricultural sector, particularly crop production, is increasingly affected by droughts, extreme weather events, and disruptions in growing seasons._x000D_ This book seeks to answer a fundamental question: why, despite the availability of adaptation tools, do farmers not always undertake effective adaptive actions? By analyzing the economic aspects of adaptation from a behavioral economics perspective, the author reveals that farmers’ decisions are driven not only by economic calculations but also by emotions, beliefs, and social trust mechanisms._x000D_ Based on an in-depth review of the literature and empirical research, the publication uncovers hidden psychological and social barriers that can inhibit the process of adapting to climate change.
