| Summary: | The monograph shows the role of the social audience in broadcasting and removing labels of a demoralized person in the experience of the individual. The study reconstructs various trajectories of social labeling processes and ways of managing them by the participants of the study, i.e. women whose life situation – due to the final results of institutional interventions – can be considered as a “success of social rehabilitation” (they were not a subject of formal social control after leaving the social rehabilitation center) Additionally, the dependence between labeling management and the formation of their self-definition process was discussed. Generalizations resulting from the life experiences of the narrators made it possible to formulate the premises for the modification of social rehabilitation activities at the institutional and systemic level. |
