| Shrnutí: | In this third series of a project that aims to recover the production in Latin of the Portuguese Jesuits of the 16th and 17th centuries, António Guimarães Pinto gathered, according to the traditional anthological method, compositions, in prose and verse, of six authors, which he transcribed, translated and annotated. Besides, and pursuing the same item of humanistic literature, the Author added two chapters, in the form of essays, in which he brings original contributions to important themes of 17th century Portuguese literature and culture. |
