Shrnutí:The following chapters provide proof of the enduring vitality of theatre about science. They portray a number of diverse initiatives exploring various scientific subjects, addressing pressing contemporary issues such as ecological (un)sustainability, mental health prevalence and the ethical implications of technological advances. The ‘Collaborate and learn’ section includes several examples of projects resulting from institutional collaboration among research centres, theatre companies, and practitioners. Several have relevant social intervention purposes in the issues they address. Some of the themes described and discussed are related to health and trauma, ecological sustainability or training and education. The following section, ‘Question and analyse’, gathers several texts with critical reflections on science-theatre interactions and research, some from an observer point of view, not engaged in practice, and some from within, questioning their own practices. A group of texts describe and reflects on the use of technology onstage, with a particular emphasis on the contemporary subject of AI. This volume creates a rich image of the vast formal, thematic, procedural and purposeful possibilities in the cross-fertilisation between theatre and the sciences.
