"Millaisia terveyspalveluita oli saatavilla Suomessa sata vuotta sitten: joutuivatko köyhät ja syrjäseutujen asukkaat tyytymään huonompaan hoitoon? Miten terveyspalvelujärjestelmä loi ja ylläpiti kunnon kansalaisuutta? Entä milloin terveyspalvelut alettiin mieltää kansalaisoikeudeksi? Minna Harjulan tutkimus kuvaa suomalaisen terveyspalvelujärjestelmän rakentumista 1900-luvulla terveyskansalaisuus-käsitteen näkökulmasta.
