Der vorliegende Band verzeichnet 222 Urkunden und Briefe Kaiser Friedrichs III. (1440-1493), ausgestellt in den Regierungsjahren 1480-1482. Ein Teil der Urkunden bietet Ausschnitte aus politischen Konfliktherden vom Südwesten bis in den Nordosten des Reches, von Konstanz und Tirol/Trient bis Friesland und Riga, darunter dem Salzburger Bistumsstreit.
