Thus, this thesis offers in-depth insights into the mechanism and elements of the attribution of individual responsibility. The main finding is that only culpability and the consideration of its elements, which are defined in this work, are capable of functionally determining punishment (i.e., in accordance with the necessity of punishment for the stabilization of norms). Dieses Werk nimmt sich dem Wesen strafrechtlicher Schuld und damit dem Herzstück der Strafrechtstheorie an. Die Untersuchung widmet sich der Frage nach der Relevanz des Strafrechts und der Strafe für die Stabilisierung von Normen innerhalb der Gesellschaft und eruiert darauf aufbauend die Funktion des Schuldvorwurfs und des Schuldprinzips. Die Dissertation liefert dabei detaillierte Einblicke in den Mechanismus und die Elemente der strafrechtlichen Verantwortungszuschreibung.
