Das vom Oberhofzeremonienmeister Gundacker Heinrich Graf Wurmbrand entworfene „Etiquette-Normale für den österreichischen Kaiserhof“ (ca. 1812) ist eine einzigartige Quelle zur Rekonstruktion des Zeremoniells am Wiener Kaiserhof nach dem Ende der Napoleonischen Ära. Der Text definiert die Rolle des Herrschers sowie der Mitglieder seiner Entourage und der Hofbediensteten in einem durch symbolische Bedeutungen aufgeladenen Beziehungssystem.
