" "Aikamme kasvatus: vain muutos on pysyvää? -teos esittelee 14 eläytymismenetelmätutkimusta, jotka kaikki tarkastelevat kasvatuksen kentällä tapahtuneita muutoksia. Teoksessa pohditaan monia ajankohtaisia teemoja, kuten opetus- ja työtapojen muutosta eri koulutusasteilla, muutosjohtamista ja opetussuunnitelmatyötä sekä tulevaisuustaitoja. Teos tarjoaa näkökulman myös muun muassa siihen, miten lapset kokevat uutisten väkivaltakertomusten hahmot tai miten tytöt rakentavat kertomuksissaan tyttöyttä. Lisäksi teoksen ajankohtaisina teemoina pohditaan mm. erilaisia isyystyyppejä, nuorten kännykän käytön rajoittamista sekä ammattikoululaisten suhtautumista maahanmuuttajiin. Kaikkia edellä kuvattuja artikkeleita yhdistää kasvatuspainotteisen muutoksen tarkastelun ohella metodologinen yhteys: kaikkien artikkelien aineisto on kerätty eläytymismenetelmää käyttäen. Teos osoittaa, kuinka monikäyttöisestä menetelmästä on kyse: se sopii yhtälailla lasten käsitysten tutkimiseen kuin kokonaisen organisaatiomuutoksen tarkasteluun. Teos esittelee paitsi menetelmällä tehtyjä käytännön tutkimuksia, tarjoaa myös käyttöohjeen menetelmään vasta tutustuvalle tutkijalle.
