Weshalb gibt es eine Geschichte der Fotografie, jedoch keine Geschichte des Fotogramms? Dieser Frage geht die Publikation nach, indem sie sich der spezifischen Materialität, den wissenschaftlichen und künstlerischen Qualitäten des Fotogramms anhand einer historiografischen, semiotischen als auch gendertheoretischen Analyse nähert.
