Dieser Band vereinigt die Referate des am 19. Oktober 2018 veranstalteten 16. Göttinger Workshops zum Familienrecht, der sich mit den jüngsten Vorschlägen des Bundesministeriums der Justiz und für Verbraucherschutz zur Reform des Vormundschaftsrechts (2. Diskussionsteilentwurf) beschäftigte. Zum Auftakt wurden die wesentlichen Änderungen vorgestellt (Thomas Meyer, Heike Wunderlich), bevor das Grundkonzept der Sorgeverantwortung des Vormunds im Bereich der Personensorge aus Sicht der Wissenschaft (Dieter Schwab), der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe (Helga Oberloskamp) sowie der Familiengerichtsbarkeit (Werner Dürbeck) untersucht wurde.
